Sealing Plugs - Wall and Bulkhead Seals - Marine - Industrial
Compression seal plugs WA-plug-model: Two half shells taper design to provide a water and gas tight passage for pipe and conduit penetrations.
Seal cables and pipes passing through concrete walls, steel plate ceiling and bulkheads. Sealing materials may be: EDPM, NBR, Silicone, Viton.
Installation is fast and simple, the plug is pressured in the annular space. The profiled design of the seal makes installation easy and ensures a pressure tightness up to 3 bar. (43 psi)
Seals a small annular space between pipe and opening.
WA - plug split compression seals are applicable to the ship building industry, and are installed from both sides in a welded sleeve through a wall or deck.
In ship building the high fire retardant rubber FS. Fire resistance of 60 minutes are used. Other fire resistant assemblies may also be added to provide more firewall protection.
The plugs can be used in a core drilled hole, wall sleeves, external wall sleeves or pipe in pipe connections.
The plug can also be used in embedded pipe inlet wall sleeve assembles.
- 60 minutes fire retardant (A60)
